This is our first time to Bangkok. We chose this hotel due to good reviews by other travellers. The room is big and clean. It felt like a 4 Star Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were scammed by a jewelry shop on our 3rd day in Bangkok, and we found out that this jewelry shop has conned many tourists already from a web site forum later that night. We were very sad. The Front Desk Supervisor, Ms Nan was supportive and informed the hotel’s management of our situation. The next morning, Ms Adjima Kaenchan, the Sales and Marketing Manager and Papungkorn, the Puchasing Executive from this hotel accompanied us to the jewelry shop to get a 90 percent refund (that was the highest we could get, after negotiation). We are very grateful to their assistance and we like the warmth shown by the hotel’s staff. We will definitely stay in Royal View Resort again if we visit Bangkok, for the hospitality and warmth of the staff, the hotel’s location that is a few minutes away from Victoria Monument station and for the decent room rates.
